What are Interactions in Google Ads? – Definition
Interactions are the user’s actions associated with a given Google ad. These actions depend on the ad format and campaign types. Interactions are:
- for video ads – views,
- for text and Shopping ads – clicks and swipes,
- for call extensions – phone calls.
What Will I Learn from Them?
They measure the effectiveness of your ads. You can also analyze the interaction rate, which tells you how often users interact with your ad after seeing it.
Where to Find Interactions in the Google Ads Account?
First, sign in to the Google Ads account and select the campaign for which performance you want to measure. Find the Columns button and click on it. Select a column based on your advertising goals.
