Backlink
What is backlink? Definition
A backlink (or incoming link) is a link with a dofollow or nofollow attribute, placed on another website, which directs to our website. The quality and high parameters of these links may result in an increase in the website’s parameters such as: trust, authority and the growth of individual key phrase positions. Incoming links should be distinguished by high substantive quality, be natural and reader-friendly.
How to check the quality of backlinks?
Their uniqueness and precision is more important than quantity. An artificially generated backlink can cause Google to impose a penalty. Tools such as Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Majestic or SEMrush will help you to check which links lead to a given page and what their value is.
